No. 2 RICHIESINTHEHOUSE (3-1) is 16-for-25 on all-weather ground. The early-pressing gelding runs well fresh and should make his presence felt throughout. He sports two bullets for this and looks ready to roll off the bench.

No. 4 Not So Quiet (5-2) is the one to beat if he duplicates his sharp local form from last fall. Mark Casse’s versatile gelding captured four of his last six starts and those wins were in the stakes ranks.

No. 6 Spite Store (15-1) likes abbreviated sprints and might outrun his odds. He was fairly reliable vs. lesser foes and should attend the pace in his first stakes try.

No. 1 Silent Poet (7-2) is a multiple graded winner on turf. He has speed and the rail and has won on all-weather ground before. He is better on turf but does fit with this group.
