Sunday's Best Bet: Pulsate drops the hammer in Lucky Coin

Sunday’s 11th race from Saratoga is the $85,000 Lucky Coin Stakes for 4-year-olds and up dashing five and one-half furlongs on the turf course (Post Time 6:17 p.m. ET).

#8 PULSATE (4-1) might be set for his best in his third start after a layoff, and he can mow these down if the pace heats up. He owns competitive numbers and should offer a hint of value.

#7 Readyforprimetime (6-1) is 2-for-2 at Saratoga and 3-for-3 at this distance. Linda Rice is showing confidence by entering this one in a stakes race, and I like his early-pressing versatility.

#1 Shekky Shebaz (8-5) likes this turf course and should save ground stalking the pace. He was sharper last year.

#9 Gidu (5-2) turns back and fired in both starts at this distance. He is tough to trust. He has a total of one win from his last fifteen starts, and he is 0-for-5 at the Spa.
