No. 8 No Nay Hudson (9-2) was competitive in all five starts in 2022. The early-pressing type runs well fresh and reunites with his winning rider John Velazquez. Wesley Ward has been on a roll at the current meet.

No. 6 Private Creed (4-1) was a competent turf sprinter last year. He won two stakes races last year, including the local Indian Summer at this distance, and ended 2022 with a show finish in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint. He just missed in the Texas Turf Mile on Jan. 28 and was up the track in the Risen Star (G2) last time. He is back in a preferred turf sprint and can get involved in the lane under his winning rider Joel Rosario.

No. 10 Golden Nugget (12-1) woke up on the surface switch in his last two turf-sprint starts at Gulfstream. Flavien Prat takes the call, and an outside stalking trip is expected.

No. 7 Bushido (5-1) scooted to the front and ran his rivals into the ground in both turf sprints at Woodbine last year. He is probably the one to catch under Luis Saez.

No. 11 New York Thunder (8-1) captured both sprints at Gulfstream Park last year. He drilled a local bullet for this April 10, and dam has tossed a turf winner.
