Sunday's Best Bet: Natural Colour blooms in Miss America
Sunday’s 11th race at Golden Gate Fields is the Miss America Stakes for fillies and mares traveling 1 1/6 miles on the all-wether surface. The scheduled post time is 7:15 p.m. EST.

No. 4 Natural Colour (9-2) won a pair of turf route stakes races in Northern California a few months ago. She handled all-weather ground in Great Britain last year, and she runs well fresh. She shows back-to-back local bullets for this and projects a nice stalking trip at a hint of a price.
No. 8 Tiz an Edventure (8-5) captured five of six starts since Jack Steiner claimed her in the spring. She is a logical contender from a stalking position, but she won’t offer much value.
No. 7 Sugar Fix (8-1) completed the exacta in all three stakes routes on all-weather footing. This is her first local try, and she should be forwardly placed.
No. 3 Clockstrikestwelve (15-1) was just out for the exercise in her dirt sprint return last time. She is an effective closer over a route of ground and should be finishing at long odds. She ran well in both all-weather starts.
No. 5 La Viking (8-1) finished in the top three in eight of nine local attempts. The early-pressing filly might land a share.
