No. 4 Malibu Coast (6-1) added blinkers and had an uncomfortable trip in his Baffle Stakes return on March 5. He ran into buzzsaw Johannes and that was his first sprint attempt, so I will give him a mulligan. He won a pair of flat mile turf races last year and ended up landing the show in the Zuma Beach. He should get pace to chase and figures to enjoy getting back to the route game.

No. 1 Mi Hermano Ramon (2-1) rallied to win his turf route bow, and he turned back and scored again from off the pace at 6 1/2 furlongs on Jan. 27. He was a troubled fourth in the Baffle and shipped to Keeneland and was an even fourth in the Transylvania. Umberto Rispoli hops aboard and he figures to save ground behind the speed.

No. 6 Eastbound (8-1) looked good from off the pace in his local maiden win at one mile on March 25. He is hoping for a pace duel.

No. 2 Game Time (5-2) and No. 3 Wizard of Westwood (5-2) should both attend the pace but the added distance of this race is not a positive for them.

No. 5 Escape Artist (6-1) wired the field at 1 1/8 miles in his maiden win last out but that was not a fast race.
