#11 JULIET FOXTROT (3-1) has been excellent in all five starts this year for Brad Cox. Florent Geroux rides her well, and the versatile sort should be able to work out a decent trip from the outside post. She shipped to Del Mar and missed by a nose in the John C. Mabee (G2) on Aug. 31. Uni and Vasilika were the two horses to beat her this year, and they are both classy, talented win machines.
#7 Got Stormy (5-2) is a classy 4-year-old filly for Mark Casse. In her last three starts vs. males, she won the Fourstardave (G1), and finished 2nd in the Woodbine Mile (G1) and Breeders' Cup Mile (G1). She could easily take this under Tyler Gaffalione.
#3 Significant Form (9-2) is 3-for-4 this year, and all three wins were in the graded ranks. She won her last two under Sunday’s rider John Velazquez, and I like her running style versatility. She shipped to Del Mar once before, and was an OK fourth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf that day.
#5 Toinette (7-2) captured seven of her last nine starts, and she is 4-for-4 at one mile. Her winning pilot, Flavien Prat, stays put, and she can stalk or close.
I don’t consider #9 Daddy Is a Legend (8-1) a win threat, but she is fairly consistent and can hit the board on her best day.
