Sunday’s 10th race at Los Alamitos is the $100,000 King Glorious Stakes for California-bred 2-year-olds traveling one mile on the main track. The scheduled post time is 7:36 p.m. EST.

No. 2 Geezer (5-2) improved his speed ratings in all four starts. He captured his last three dirt sprints and should attend the pace in his longest and toughest career test. He broke his maiden at Los Alamitos.

No. 4 Belly Up (7-2) ran a much improved race on the surface switch second time out. In his maiden victory on Nov. 29, he dueled on the lead and edged clear late. Michael McCarthy shows a profit with his first route starters, and Juan Hernandez takes the call. His dam was a turf sprinter.

No. 1 Giver Not a Taker (2-1) hopped at the start and stalked wide in the Golden State Juvenile last time. He moved up and had a clear lead in the stretch, but he was run down late in a solid runner-up finish as the beaten favorite. Flavien Prat takes the call, and he figures to take a ton of action in this spot. I am not sure about the added ground of this race, but he is a logical contender in the paper race.

No. 6 Amigo G A (15-1) won his bow from off the pace, and had early trouble and rallied mildly in his last pair. He might move up over a route of ground in his second start after a layoff. He can hit the board at a price.
