No. 4 Filthy Fast (7-2) flashed sharp early speed and held the place behind a romping winner in her six-panel bow Jan. 2. She never made the lead at 6 1/2 furlongs second time out and ended up a well-beaten fourth. She drops to a new low and drilled a local half-mile bullet for this on March 4. Apprentice rider Abdul Alsagoor knows her now, and she will probably sprint for the early lead.
No. 11 Sweet Hello (4-1) hit the board in her last four maiden claiming dirt sprints. She is out of the California-bred maiden claiming ranks, and Umberto Rispoli knows her now. She dueled and missed by less than a length in a similar spot at Del Mar late last year.
No. 3 Half Nelson (12-1) picked up minor checks in half of her six dirt sprints. She puts blinkers back on and drops to a new low.
No. 10 Tenacious Lady (6-1) ran respectable races in both maiden claiming dirt sprint attempts. She figures to stalk the pace and can get a piece of this.
