Sunday’s 11th race from Lone Star Park is the Singletary Stakes for three-year-olds and up traveling a mile and an eighth on the turf course (Post Time - 7:57 p.m. ET).
#1 CARLEA’S DREAM (4-1) almost always finishes in the top three on turf. He exits a sharp local front running allowance victory at one mile and might be able to step up and repeat. He might be able to control the pace from the advantageous inside post.
#2 Me and Mr. C (5-2) brings decent Florida turf route form to the table. He won a restricted state bred stakes on turf at this distance at Tampa Bay Downs March 28.
#4 Artie’s Rumor (5-1) exits a claiming win at this distance on turf at Churchill Downs and Ron Moquett nabbed him for $40k that day. He owns competitive numbers and packs a decent late kick.
#8 Colloquist (12-1) has been in good form in turf routes in Texas all year. Carlea’s Dream beat him May 31, and this one exits a nice allowance victory from the inside post. He can spice up the exotics.
