No. 4 Bustin Bay (5-1) is back on top of her game for Linda Rice. She won five races last year and banked more than $331k. She was not at her best late last year and returned with an OK show finish on Feb. 19. Last time in a local optional-claiming heat at one mile, she wired the field at 9-1.
No. 7 Venti Valentine (5-2) has not finished out of the trifecta since May 2023. She hit the board in her last four stakes tries, including a neck defeat in the Broadway at seven panels on Feb. 17. She does some of her best work at this distance and should be right there when the dust settles.
No. 5 Lady Mine (3-1) is a neck away from five straight wins. The sharp filly tries a longer distance and could easily score again.
No. 1 Security Code (7-2) got a comfortable stalking trip from an outer post in the Broadway last time. The consistent Frosted filly goes for the hat trick and will have to work out a different journey at a longer distance from the inside post.
