No. 4 BEER CAN MAN (5-2) is a very consistent 6-for-10 turf pro making his first start for Phil D’Amato. Flavien Prat rides him well and the early-pressing type should work out a comfortable trip. He finally moves off the rail and drew outside his main rival, and he could easily take this.
No. 3 Barraza (2-1) captured his last three starts including the restricted Clocker’s Corner. This is his toughest test yet and his running style versatility is an asset.
No. 7 Bombard (4-1) makes his first start in more than five months, and he has fired fresh more than once. The veteran gelding likes this course and distance and might be tough to catch if he shakes loose early.
No. 2 Commander (6-1) frequently finishes in the top three in turf sprints. Rispoli guided him to a pair of close-up place finishes last year.
