#3 CANDYGRAM (3-1) looks like the one to catch for the recently hot Junior Alvarado/James Jerkens team. The sharp, fresh, improving 4-year-old colt exits back-to-back forwardly placed romps vs. allowance rivals, and it looks like he is ready for the stakes ranks.

#6 Sunny Ridge (5-2) is a very reliable performer for Jason Servis. He won this event last year, and he exits a nice victory in the Salvator Mile (G3) at Monmouth Park.

#2 Prince Lucky (7-2) was in too deep in the Met Mile (G1), and he caught the slop in the Westchester (G3) before that. He won a couple of one mile graded events at Gulfstream earlier this year, and he captured the Easy Goer at this course/distance as a sophomore in 2018.

#1 Backyard Heaven (9-5) makes his first start in more than eleven months for sharp layoff trainer Chad Brown. It looked like he was going places after his razor sharp Alysheba (G2) victory last year, but the wheels came off in the Stephen Foster (G1) and Whitney (G1). He runs well fresh but won't offer any value.

#4 Multiplier (12-1) returns to dirt for Bill Mott. He lacks speed and is probably best used underneath if at all.

#5 Just Whistle (10-1) finished 2nd in a stakes race at Delaware Park yesterday and will scratch out of this affair.
