No. 5 Scottish Symphony (7-2) is a Mendelssohn first time starter with back-to-back bullet workouts at Woodbine. Mark Casse’s filly seems to have some ability and might hit the ground running in this stakes race.

No. 7 Flor de Sombra (9-5) might be the best of the speed types. She wired the field in her first two dirt sprints and exits a clear runner-up finish in a stakes race at Parx.

No. 8 Pachelbel (4-1) improved her speed ratings in all four dirt sprint starts at Parx. She stalked the pace and finished in front of Flor de Sombra last time.

No. 3 Warrior’s Ransom (6-1) turned back and graduated as the strong favorite at this course and distance last time. She should get pace to chase and might come running for a share.

Wagers:

No. 5 to win

Exacta 3-5-8/7

Trifecta 5-7-8/5-7-8/3
