#5 WHITE FROST (9-2) switched to turf, stalked slow fractions, and flew home in her Aqueduct maiden win Nov. 21, and the runner-up was a next-out winner. She should get pace to chase and could easily mow these down.

#8 Director’s Cut (6-1) was part of the exacta in four of five turf starts. She likes this course and distance and her late pace ratings are slowly rising. She exits a runner-up finish vs. local optional claimers and she ran well that day. She seemed a bit keyed up off a layoff last time and the slow fractions may have had something to do with that. She tracked, led, and ended up a solid 2nd. Luis Saez rides, she fired a bullet for this Jan. 24, and she figures to relax behind honest fractions this time.

#6 Domain Expertise (5-1) earned an improved number in her Tampa Bay maiden win as the favorite Dec. 5.

#1 Queen of the Green (15-1) fired from off the pace in all three straight maiden turf routes. She should save ground behind honest splits.

But we would like to help you shortcut that process by learning some of the most common mistakes that horseplayers make on a daily basis. Take a look at Horse Racing Nation’s newest eBook -- “Top 10 Mistakes Horseplayers Make” -- and see if it helps you avoid some common mistakes and win more playing the races.
