No. 1 War Campaign (4-1) should save all the ground behind lively splits. He was along for the show behind Gasoline and Giant Game in a salty optional-claiming dirt route at Churchill Downs on Nov. 4. He won a race at this distance in May and sports back-to-back bullets at Keeneland for this engagement.

No. 3 Seize the Night (9-2) exits an even effort in a turf route, and he is back on preferred footing in his third start after a short layoff. The dual local winner captured an optional-claiming event at 1 1/8 miles in June.

No. 4 Speed Bias (3-1) might be the best of the early runners. He started the year with a local dirt route win, and came close to making the grade in the Pimlico Special and Fayette. The relatively consistent Uncle Mo colt handles this oval.

No. 7 Denington (5-1) might get the right setup at a hint of a price. The improving sophomore rallied for the place behind Dubyuhnell at 1 1/8 miles on Oct. 28, and he closed for the win in a flat mile event at Churchill Downs on Nov. 26. He had lasix in his last pair and will be without that medication in this spot.
