#2 THE HUNTED (8-1) was overbet in the Unusual Heat Turf Classic last time. A mile and an eighth is just too far for him. He loves a flat mile and might bounce back at square odds.
#3 Majestic Eagle (5-1) likes this turf course and usually gives his all. His last win was in a similar graded event at this course and distance June 2019. Rispoli is a very good turf rider.
#7 Frontier Market (4-1) was a decent late running turf miler on the east coast for Chad Brown. The 7yo gelding now competes for Sadler/Hronis Racing, and Prat takes the call.
#1 Ronald R (6-1) packs a decent late kick and is interesting if the pace heats up. He rallied to upset the Lure Stakes at this course/distance last fall.
#4 True Valour (7-2) stretches back out and is capable of beating these on his best day. He won this race last year and followed that with upset in the City of Hope Mile (G2).
