Saturday's Best Bet: Significant Form can rebound in Pebbles Stakes

I have always liked #11 Significant Form (7-2), and she looks classier than these. The last time the fresh filly raced in a non-graded event, she romped by six-plus lengths off a layoff at Aqueduct. She runs well with time between starts, and she should beat these. The one thing that could slow her down is soft ground.

#8 Victorine (6-1) got no pace help in her U.S. bow in the G2 Sands Point, and she made a run before flattening out that day. Rosario is 5-for-15 with Clement recently, and she would probably appreciate some give in the ground. A flat mile might be a tad sharp.

#7 Goodthingstaketime (15-1) is 1-for-10 with seven minor awards on turf. The consistent finisher is a must-use in exotic wagers.

#5 Andina Del Sur (15-1) is a threat to hit the board in this spot. The G3 Florida Oaks winner was in good form earlier this year, and she should appreciate this shorter trip.

#6 Get Stormy (3-1) won her last three flat mile stakes starts, but she got sick and missed some time (last start July 21), and she won’t be tracking slow splits today (honest pace expected). I will not be using her in this event.
