#3 QUEEN NEKIA (4-1) was overmatched in the Apple Blossom (G1) on April 18. She always runs her race at Gulfstream and is especially dangerous at one mile. A stalking trip is expected, and I think she can reel in #4 Letruska (3-1). The latter is the chalk. She loves to win races and is a strong pace player.

#1 Nonna Madeline (5-2) was clearly second best behind Letruska at 8.5 furlongs on April 16. She figures to save ground stalking the pace.

#2 Bella Ciao (9-2) is a sharp late runner exiting a runner-up finish vs. local stakes foes at this distance. She might be able to tag these if the pace gets hot.

How do you know how much to play or which wagers to try? Unfortunately, part of the learning process can include losing money.
