No. 6 Our Flash Drive (7-2) rates a long look if she can sprint. She smartly rallied in her local maiden score at this distance last year, and it has been all routes since. Mark Casse’s consistent filly won a pair of graded races last year, and captured the restricted De La Rose at one mile on turf in New York earlier this summer. She exits a runner-up finish as the beaten favorite in the Ontario Matron, and she was clear of the rest that day.

No. 1 Artie’s Princess (5-2) is a win machine in all-weather sprints. She won a pair of local sprints including the Bessarabian Stakes in 2020. She was unplaced in her lone 2021 outing and captured two stakes this year including the Presque Isle Masters. Jose Ortiz was patient with her last time, but she can also set the pace, press, or stalk, depending on race shape.

No. 3 Hazelbrook (3-1) won six of her last eight local sprints. She is a logical threat from off the pace but I am concerned about her 0-for-2 record at this trip.

No. 8 Loyalty (4-1) is 4-for-4 in all-weather sprints. The sophomore filly still has upside and will have to run a bit faster to threaten these.
