#7 Nasty (6-1) disappointed as the beaten chalk Nov. 28. Irad Ortiz Jr. tried to get her to settle behind strong fractions and nothing went right for her that day. She wants to get involved early and figures to do just that in this spot. She won two turf routes at Indiana Grand earlier this year and moved to the Richard Baltas barn and was a solid prominent throughout 3rd under today’s pilot Ricardo Gonzalez in the Autumn Miss (G3) at this course/distance Oct. 17. She can bounce back in her third start after a layoff.

#8 Counterparty Risk (4-1) ran out of ground in her seven furlong bow as the beaten favorite Oct. 10. She stretched out to a mile and a sixteenth and rallied from post 11 to graduate at Aqueduct Nov. 20. Joel Rosario rides for Chad Brown and she drilled a Florida turf bullet for this Dec. 18. She has upside and might be this good if the pace heats up a bit.

#2 Miss Extra (4-1) failed to fire in her stateside bow in the Del Mar Oaks (G1). Prior to that disappointing effort, she won a trio of flat mile turf races in France earlier this year including a Group 2. She adds lasix and Umberto Rispoli rides back, and she drilled a local half-mile bullet for this Nov. 26. I would not be surprised if she showed much more in this spot.

#9 Warren’s Showtime (7-2) rallied to finish a solid 2nd in the Betty Grable Stakes vs. California-breds at seven panels on dirt Nov. 8. She is 4-for-5 on turf at Santa Anita and 5-for-8 at one mile.
