Saturday's Best Bet: Mundaye Call might not look back in Madison

Saturday’s 10th race from Keeneland is the Grade 1 Madison Stakes for fillies and mares dashing seven furlongs on the main track (Post Time 6:02 p.m. ET).

#3 MUNDAYE CALL (8-1) is a fresh speed threat for Brad Cox. The seven panel stakes winner runs well fresh and might be long gone if left alone early.

#5 Kimari (5-2) exits a big win on a wet track in the Spring Fever at Oaklawn Park. She is versatile and should be forwardly placed in her longest and toughest test yet. She figures to track Mundaye Call and might get first run if/when that one falters.

#1 Sanenus (6-1) probably wants a bit more ground but she ran well in all four starts in this country and might work out a decent ground saving tactical trip. She stretched out and romped as my top choice in the La Canada (G3) Jan. 9. She scratched from the Beholder Mile (G1) after trying up, and ended up shipping to Keeneland for this.

#4 Bell’s the One (2-1) is a classy, late running extended sprint specialist making her first start in more than four months. She is at the mercy of the pace and this event probably won’t set up for her.

Wagers:

#3 to win
