#8 HOSTESS (5-1) might be the value play. She beat her stablemate and today’s favorite Maxim Rate under Drayden Van Dyke at this course-distance in the Providencia (G3) April 6. She ran out of ground in the Senorita Stakes (G3) at one mile May 4, and might rebound at this longer distance under her winning rider.
#6 Maxim Rate (9-5) is a nose away from a perfect 3-for-3 record. She is versatile and Kent Desormeaux rode her well in the Senorita last time.
#3 Seranitsa (6-1) moves to the Neil Drysdale barn and he shows a +ROI with new additions. Flavien Prat wins races with this barn and she might get first run if/when likely early runners #4 Holly Hundy and #7 Sold It fade.
#5 Dr Wysong (20-1) exits an okay 4th from post 10 in a flat mile turf stakes race at Golden Gate. The California-bred filly fits with these if able to work out a decent trip.
