No. 1 Freedom Trail (8-1) made a nice forward move in a neck defeat at this course and distance on Sept. 21. Exact Estimate beat him last time and he returned to complete the exacta in the Artie Schiller Stakes on Nov. 12. He does his best work at Aqueduct and should save ground behind the speed under Jose Ortiz.

No. 4 Equitize (5-1) has not been seen since scoring as the favorite in his turf route debut at Tampa Bay Downs in March. Chad Brown’s $606k purchase gets the services of Irad Ortiz Jr.

No. 3 Integration (1-1) rallied to win both turf route starts at Colonial Downs including the Virginia Derby (G3). Shug McGaughey’s $700k Quality Road colt has upside and could easily score again, but he won’t offer any value.
