#2 COCO BEE (6-1) captured half of her ten all-weather sprints. She adds blinkers and tries turf for the productive Juan Hernandez/Blaine Wright team, and a stalking trip is projected. This abbreviated distance might work for her.

#1 Tomlin (6-1) was overmatched vs. Bellafina in the Desert Stormer (G3) May 17. She is a pretty good all-weather sprinter, and dam has produced three turf winners. She raced on turf once and that resulted in a show finish in the Pike Place Dancer at one mile in 2018. She figures to save ground stalking the pace if she handles the footing.

#6 Fantasy Heat (5-1) makes her first start in more than eight months. She captured a trio of turf sprints in Southern California last year, and her trainer Mark Glatt has been on a roll recently at Santa Anita.

#5 Princess Vivian (9-2) should be heard from late. She exits back-to-back all-weather sprint wins, and that includes a victory in the Bear Fan Stakes vs. California-bred foes. She raced once on turf and rallied to miss by a head in her career debut.

#7 Storming Lady (4-1) crossed the line first in two of her last three turf sprints at Santa Anita. Her new rider Kent Desormeaux should have options with the versatile filly.

#3 Ima Happy Cat (6-1) might be the one to catch. She was in similar form last year when she switched from all-weather ground and finished 2nd in this race at 14-1 after dueling on the lead.
