No. 4 Bal Harbour (5-2) exits a clear show finish in a graded marathon on the Breeders’ Cup Friday undercard. The early-pressing gelding romped in the slop before his last, and the classy veteran fits with these for a productive jockey-trainer team.

No. 3 Run Classic (8-5) won his first two sprints this year, and stretched out and missed by a head last time. He is a logical prominent throughout contender but he might be best around one turn.

No. 7 King Fury (6-1) is winless at this distance and likes picking up minor awards. The race shape might be to his liking and he should offer value.

No. 1 Last Samurai (9-2) faced graded rivals in six of his last eight starts. He figures to save all the ground stalking the pace, and he captured the local Oaklawn Handicap in the spring.
