#8 ADMISSION OFFICE (5-1) landed the place in this event last year and has been a quality graded turf route performer for quite some time, He was outrun in his Tropical Turf (G3) return, and showed a nice forward move in a flying show finish in the Tampa Bay Stakes (G3) Feb. 6. He can move forward from off the pace in his third start after a layoff.

#4 Moon Over Miami (6-1) is a returning four-year-old for the productive Junior Alvarado and Bill Mott team. He won the Dueling Grounds Derby last year and could end up liking these longer distances. He competed in a couple of graded turf routes last year, and those New York sophomore turf runners were a salty bunch in 2020.

#1 Temple (3-1) figures to save ground stalking the pace and shortening up a furlong helps his chances. He landed the place in his last three turf routes and he fired trifecta shots in all four local turf attempts (4 wins).

#3 Tide of the Sea (5-2) got out there and controlled the pace in the local W. L. McKnight (G3) at a mile and a half Jan. 23, and he turned away his stablemate Temple that day. He might face pace pressure from #6 Phantom Currency (6-1). The latter exits a local nine furlong theft at 8-1 odds, and he is Admission Office’s stablemate.

How do you know how much to play or which wagers to try? Unfortunately, part of the learning process can include losing money. But we would like to help you shortcut that process by learning some of the most common mistakes that horseplayers make on a daily basis. Take a look at Horse Racing Nation’s newest eBook -- “Top 10 Mistakes Horseplayers Make” -- and see if it helps you avoid some common mistakes and win more playing the races.
