No. 8 Young Squire (8-1) exits back-to-back local wins. The versatile sophomore gelding owns ascending speed ratings and should offer wagering value. Jockey Anthony Nunez chose this one over Bronx Boys.
No. 1 Cold Feet (5-2) probably will try to wire the field from the inside post. The Frosted gelding earned decent speed ratings in his last two starts.
No. 5 Mr. Roundtree (6-1) does not win often, but he frequently rallies for minor awards. He completed the trifecta in his last four starts and can get a piece of this.
No. 3 Bronx Boys (8-1) added blinkers and smartly graduated from the outside post at this course and distance on Nov. 28. He might work out a nice trip behind honest fractions, and the price should be right.
No. 2 Sea Trident (5-1) returned to form in a neck defeat in a local $15k claiming race on Nov. 8, and Michael Moore nabbed him out of that heat. He should impact the pace.
