Monday's Best Bet: Sweet Souper Sweet tops Presque Isle Debutante

Monday’s 5th race from Presque Isle Downs is the $75,000 Presque Isle Debutante for 2-year-old fillies and up dashing and one-half six furlongs on the all-weather surface (Post Time 6:25 p.m. ET).

#6 SWEET SOUPER SWEET (4-1) flashed early foot and kept on going as the favorite in her Woodbine all-weather bow June 27. She shipped to Saratoga and failed to get seriously involved in a 6th place finish in the Bolton Landing Stakes second time out Aug. 19, and that was a productive race. Show finisher Amanzi Yimpilo shipped to Santa Anita and won the Speakeasy Stakes Sept. 26, 4th place finisher Mischievous Dream won the Sorority at Monmouth Park Sept. 7, and 5th place finisher Quinoa Tiffah captured the Our Dear Peggy at Gulfstream Park Sept. 26.  

#1 Factoire (5-2) earned a strong pace rating in a front running turf sprint win from the inside post at Monmouth Park Sept. 13. 

#3 Anoint (12-1) rallied wide to smartly capture her local 5.5 furlong debut vs. PA-breds Sept. 21. She should get pace to chase. 

#9 Lexinator (6-1) scored in her local sprint debut from off the pace Sept. 8. She should be finishing from the outside post.
