No. 3 Scottish Symphony (3-1) set the pace and missed by a neck in a clear runner-up finish in an all-weather sprint at Woodbine on June 17, and she earned an improved speed rating that day. The early-pressing filly should be in the mix from the outset.
No. 6 Rusty My Brother (4-1) smartly captured her last two local sprints. She stalked and scored in her maiden win on May 15, and she added lasix and was all over the pace from the outside post on June 6. That last race was a productive affair, and she drilled a local bullet for this on June 26.
No. 2 Captain Courtney (7-2) stalked the pace and ran off the screen in her last two starts as the favorite. The lightly raced filly turns back in distance and still has upside.
No. 7 Late Frost (5-2) ran well in all four dirt sprints. The early-pressing Frosted filly exits a state-bred stakes score and drew outside the other speed.
