Monday's Best Bet: Ruffy can ruffle some feathers at Parx

Monday’s eighth race at Parx is a starter optional claiming event for 3-year-olds and up dashing seven furlongs on the main track. The scheduled post time is 3:49 p.m. EDT.

No. 5 Ruffy (3-1) set the pace and was clearly second best as the favorite in a similar local extended sprint on April 17. He should make his presence felt from the outset. 

No. 8 Bullet Butch (2-1) turns back in distance in his third start after a layoff. He handles this distance and figures to stalk the pace from the outside post. 

No. 6 Meet the Elite (6-1) is a sophomore colt exiting a nice local win at six panels. He owns running style versatility. 

No. 3 Beachwalker (7-2) hit the board in his last four dirt routes. He turns back in distance and can get a piece of this.
