No. 6 Plainsman (5-2) is a gem of consistency for Brad Cox. He has been freshened for this and cuts back in distance. He rallied to win the local Ack Ack (G3) at this distance last fall.

No. 7 Cody's Wish (8-5) has yet to taste defeat at this course and distance. His speed rating jumped up in the Westchester (G3) but that race was in the slop.

No. 1 Mish (9-2) is the inside speed and he likes this distance. He captured four of his last seven starts and might maintain sharp form in his third start after a layoff.

No. 4 Awesome Gerry (15-1) had his speed ratings increase in his last two extended sprint wins. He steps up to face better foes and might outrun his odds.

Wagers:

No. 6 to win
