No. 1 Mr Fisk (3-1) made a big forward move over a route of ground second time out. He raced wide and finished smartly for the place last time, and that race was captured by his chalky front running stablemate Reincarnate. Juan Hernandez knows him now and Bob Baffert excels with his first time Lasix starters. He might be able to save ground from the inside post this time.

No. 4 Harlocap (7-2) broke slow, raced wide, and was clearly second best behind promising sort Spun Intended in his sprint bow at Del Mar on Nov. 26. Bob Baffert is strong first route and John Velazquez sticks with the $400k Justify colt.

No. 6 Navy Man (7-2) might be all set to route after two solid sprints, He was an even show finisher from the inside post in his bow, and missed by a neck from the outside post second time out. The show finisher from his last start was a next-out winner, and Michael McCarthy shows a profit with his first route starters. They paid $475k for the Bolt d’Oro colt.

No. 8 Riverside (7-2) stalked outside and finished a nose behind Mr Fisk last time. Flavien Prat knows him now and he will probably sit a similar outside stalking trip in this event.
