No. 4 Moon Dog (4-1) easily wired the field in both local routes since he was claimed for $20k. He owns the best recent speed ratings and looks like the main speed.
No. 1 Candy for Carmel (3-1) won both local starts at this distance since moving to the Jamie Ness barn. He figures to save ground chasing the pace.
No. 3 Good Culture (7-2) ran into buzzsaw Dreaming of Gerry on Feb. 14, and he was clearly second best behind that romping winner. He probably will end up stalking the pace.
No. 2 Under the Radar (5-2) is a Laurel Park shipper for Jamie Ness. He exits a flat-mile win in the allowance ranks but is winless in seven tries at this distance. The late-running gelding enjoys completing the trifecta.
