Monday’s ninth race at Santa Anita is the $80,000 Swingtime Stakes for fillies and mares traveling one mile on the turf course. The scheduled post time is 8 p.m. EDT.

No. 1 Eddie’s New Dream (4-1) is a likable California-bred mare. The consistent, versatile sort goes out there and runs her race just about every time. She won a pair of local state-bred stakes races last year and captured the Fran’s Valentine at Santa Anita in May. She exits a sharp score in the Solana Beach at Del Mar, and she figures to save ground stalking the pace.

No. 10 Oakhurst (4-1) is realistically spotted and has the talent to win this from off the pace if she gets the right setup under Juan Hernandez. She probably wants a bit more real estate to work with.

No. 7 Hamwood Flier (3-1) runs well fresh and is a dangerous early runner. She easily went all the way in this event last year and has not been seen since fading in the Grade 1 Matriarch late last year. She will take them as far as she can under Mike Smith.

No. 3 Lucky Girl (5-1) has always been tricky to ride, and she is very inconsistent. Joe Bravo knows her well, and she has a nice kick when she has her mind on running. She drops out of a graded race and fits with these on her best day.

No. 8 Unbridled Mary (6-1) is a decent late-running turf sprinter, and we will see how far she wants to go in this spot.

No. 5 Present Moment (8-1) is a Kentucky shipper, and she gets the services of quality local turf rider Umberto Rispoli. She will try to get involved from off the pace.
