No. 3 Dixie Drawl (7-2) has only struck once in eleven outings this year. He completed the exacta in his last pair and might offer a hint of value. He used to be a win type and appears to be knocking on the door.

No. 5 Excellorator (4-1) was overmatched in the Challedon and Pimlico Special this year. He won three of his five other local starts in 2022. 

No. 2 Monday Morning Qb (5-2) won the Maryland Million Classic in 2020 and followed that up with a runner-up finish in the Discovery at Aqueduct. He missed all of 2021 and is winless in five starts this year. 

No. 7 Last Romance (4-1) captured three of his last five outings at Monmouth Park. The New Jersey-bred gelding probably fits with these.
