Monday’s Best Bet: Unimpeachable is very reliable at Parx
Monday’s ninth race at Parx Racing is a starter allowance event for 4-year-olds and up dashing six furlongs on the main track. The scheduled post time is 3:31 p.m. EST.

No. 4 Unimpeachable (7-2) has finished out of the trifecta only once in 10 starts. The consistent, versatile gelding is a solid contender for a profitable jockey-trainer team.
No. 2 Backatya (9-2) easily went all the way as the favorite in a $16k claiming dirt sprint at Laurel Park on Dec. 29. This is his first start as a gelding.
No. 1 Midlaner (3-1) has been in good form since last summer. He won a similar local sprint in the slop as the favorite on Dec. 7 and exits a show finish in an entry-level allowance affair at Aqueduct.
No. 7 Mega Charlie (6-1) likes to get out there early. He did just that and kept on going in two of his last three starts, and he is probably the one to catch. He enjoys this oval but dropped all eight starts at this distance.
