No. 5 Evey’s Candy (9-2) stalked, led and ended up less than two lengths behind Howgreatisnate at Delaware Park last time. The two-time local winner earned improved speed ratings in his last pair and might be able to turn the tables on the morning line favorite.

No. 6 Howgreatisnate (2-1) won all three dirt sprints at Delaware Park. He stalked and pounced each time, and he should get pace to chase in this spot.

No. 7 Daydreaming Boy (6-1) dueled and weakened as a long shot in his seven panel debut, and the top two finishers from that heat were next-out winners. He was the favorite in a local sprint in the mud second time out, and he shook loose early and aired. The runner-up from his last race graduated in his next start. He drew outside the other speed.
