No. 7 Competitive Idea (5-2) controlled the pace and smartly went all the way in a local allowance sprint as the favorite on Oct. 11. He enjoys this course and distance, and might be able to go all the way at a speed friendly distance.

No. 1 Tony’s Tapit (7-5) earned strong speed ratings in his last two dirt sprint tallies at Canterbury Park. This is his first local try and he will probably save ground stalking the pace.

No. 6 Raymond (3-1) put blinkers back on and rallied for the win in an entry level allowance affair at Remington Park last time. The sophomore gelding is getting better for Steve Asmussen, and he can rally for a share.

Wagers:

No. 7 to win

Exacta 7-1

Trifecta 1-7/1-6-7/1-6-7
