Friday's Best Bet: Whatlovelookslike might rebound in Hettinger
Friday’s eighth race at Belmont at Aqueduct is the $125,000 John Hettinger Stakes for New York-bred fillies and mares traveling 1 1/8 miles on the turf course. The scheduled post time is 4:49 p.m. EDT.

No. 1 Whatlovelookslike (5-2) chased wide from the outside post and weakened when splitting an 8-horse field as the beaten favorite in the Yaddo Stakes at Saratoga on Aug. 27. The race flow should be much more to her liking in this spot, and she figures to bounce back under her winning rider Flavien Prat.
No. 5 Spungie (7-2) frequently finishes in the top three for Bill Mott. She rallied for the place in the Yaddo last time, and that was her first start in more than eight months.
No. 2 New Ginya (9-5) got a great setup when rallying from last in a sharp victory in the common Yaddo at Saratoga. Christophe Clement’s relatively consistent filly will try to get involved late.
No. 3 Runaway Rumour (9-2) was along for the show in the Yaddo. Linda Rice has her now and she fits with these on her best day.
