The daughter of Frosted chased from the outside post and graduated second time out and runner-up Stonewall Star returned to smartly graduate at Aqueduct Sept. 22. Phil Serpe is enjoying a fine year and Jose Lezcano has been winning races with this outfit.
No. 7 Miracle (2-1) pressed the pace and romped in her fast track sprint bow at Saratoga July 27. She took action in the Seeking the Ante second time out and completed the trifecta on a wet track that day. Flavien Prat sticks with the $360k daughter of Mendelssohn and she should be forwardly placed while out in the clear.
No. 6 Gambling Girl (7-2) is the only entrant win a victory at this distance and she scored easily in a state bred special weight affair that day. Todd Pletcher’s $200k filly should be finishing under her winning pilot Irad Ortiz Jr.
