No. 5 REDLINE (5-2) dueled and drew clear in his turf sprint maiden win April 1. That was his second career start and first outing in more than seven months, and he followed that up with a solid seven panel dirt score May 6. He stretched out, chased below par fractions, and ended up 4th on June 3. He is back in a turf sprint and figures to stalk outside under Ryan Curatolo.
No. 4 Shut Up Michael (8-5) won two local turf sprints this year including a rallying score in a similar local turf sprint May 20.
No. 3 Street Art (5-2) chased the pace and was a solid 2nd as my value top choice May 20. He removed blinkers and Ramon Vazquez was winning races with Ruben Alvarado at that time, and was fresh and fired a bullet prior to that race. I thought he would get first run last time and he was in the right spot throughout. This is his second start after a layoff and he should be in a good chasing position from the outset.
No. 2 Cowboy Charlie (4-1) added blinkers, controlled the pace, and was best of the rest in 3rd in the common May 20 affair. Blinkers come off for this engagement and he should set the pace again in his third start after a layoff.
