Friday's Best Bet: Personal Best can get there in Bewitch

Friday’s eighth race at Keeneland is the Grade 3 Bewitch Stakes for fillies and mares traveling 1 1/2 miles on the turf course. The scheduled post time is 4:44 p.m. EDT.

No. 5 Personal Best (3-1) fired trifecta shots in her last nine starts. She likes these long turf races and should offer a hint of value as the second being choice under Irad Ortiz Jr.

No. 4 War Like Goddess (3-5) ended 2022 with a show finish in the Breeders’ Cup Turf. She won this race in 2021 and 2022 and is clearly the one to beat.

No. 2 Temple City Terror (9-2) raced evenly in the Hillsborough at 1/8 miles on March 11. She has stuck three times at this distance and that includes a victory in the local Dowager Stakes last fall. She reconnects with her winning rider Jose Ortiz.
