#9 MOTHER MOTHER (2-1) was bothered by her stablemate Fighting Mad last time, and the latter returned to upset the Santa Maria (G2) May 31. She reconnects with her winning rider Joel Rosario and an outside stalking trip is expected. She won both of her non-graded stakes attempts.

#4 Royal Charlotte (3-1) is four-for-four at six panels, and she easily captured the Victory Ride (G3) at Belmont last year. She can pounce on these for Javier Catellano and Chad Brown.

#3 Honey I’m Good (8-1) improved her speed figures in both of her dirt sprint starts earlier this year. She romped in her lone local attempt and should make her presence felt throughout in a race without a ton of early zip.

#8 Chalon (5-2) runs well fresh and almost always runs her race at this distance. Let’s see if the six-year-old mare can return from an eight month hiatus and still compete at a high level in the stakes ranks. She dropped three of her last four starts last year.
