#6 KURILOV (9-2) exits back-to-back local dirt route scores vs. lesser, and he earned decent late pace ratings in those two victories. He has back class, stamina, and tactical speed.

#7 Remembering Rita (5-2) put blinkers back on and controlled the tempo in an easy front running win vs. local optional claimers at a mile and an eighth Feb. 21. His best and probably only hope is to get out there and set soft fractions at this marathon distance. I am not seeing much pace in the paper race, and that makes this 6-year-old horse a dangerous player.

#10 Campaign (3-1) got a spin over the local oval in the Razorback Handicap (G3) Feb. 17. That race was too short for him and just a prep for this. He rallied to win a pair of graded races on dirt at this distance last year in Southern California.

#1 Sky Promise (9-2) packs a nice late kick in dirt routes. He owns some impressive late pace ratings and should be heard from in the stretch if he handles the marathon distance.
