No. 3 FAMILY WAY (7-2) can run all day and upped her game in both long distance turf stakes starts at Gulfstream Park this year. She followed up a good 2nd in The Very One (G3) with an authoritative score in the Orchid (G3) at this distance four weeks ago. The tactical mare will get the jump on the big favorite in this race, and she always runs her race with Tyler Gaffalione in the saddle.

No. 4 War Like Goddess (3-5) is a 6-for-8 mare exiting a close show finish in the BC Filly & Mare Turf (G1). She rallied to win both graded turf starts at this distance last year including this race. She could easily mow these down in the lane in her first start in more than five months. Bill Mott’s talented closer might not be fully cranked for this and won’t offer any value, but she is clearly the one to beat.

No. 2 La Lune (8-1) won the Pinnacle Stakes (G3) in Great Britain at this distance last year. She shipped to this country and was a neck behind Family Way in a $550k stakes at Kentucky Downs, and went to the sidelines after disappointing in her next two stakes starts. She adds blinkers, reunites with Adam Beschizza, and should be finishing at a price.
