Friday’s eighth race from Keeneland is the Grade 3 Valley View Stakes for 3-year-old fillies traveling 1 1/16 miles on the turf course. The scheduled post time is 4:44 p.m. EDT.

No. 5 Dolce Zel (5-2) ran well in all five turf route stakes starts since arriving in the country. Chad Brown’s filly runs well fresh and projects a decent tactical trip as the deserving favorite. She is training forwardly for this and Irad Ortiz Jr. shows a profit with this barn recently.

No. 6 Majestic Glory (6-1) ran on nicely to pick up a minor award in the Pebbles Stakes on Sept. 18, and runner-up Gina Romantica captured the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup in her next outing. Luis Saez has been winning races with Todd Pletcher recently.

No. 9 Sparkle Blue (12-1) added blinkers and captured the Christiana Stakes in her first start this year, and she was second best in the Virginia Oaks last time. She is definitely faster this year and should stalk the pace while out in the clear.
