No. 5 Doinitthehardway (3-1) turns back in her third start after a layoff. She ran a winning race in a clear runner-up finish behind Ice Dancing at one mile on Nov. 25, and set the pace and weakened in the Starlet at Los Alamitos in her last start. She adds Lasix and might get the job done this time.
No. 4 Wudi (5-2) set the pace and was run down by Lily Poo in a clear runner-up finish in her sprint bow. Bob Baffert is strong with his first time Lasix starters, and John Velazquez hops aboard the $725k purchase.
No. 7 Teena Ella (3-1) took action, dueled inside, and faded in her bow, and top two finishers Faiza and Lily Poo were next-out winners. She adds Lasix and Juan Hernandez stays put. We have yet to see Beholder throw a winner after three starters.
