No. 2 Barry the Builder (9-2) added blinkers, stretched out, and switched to turf Aug. 19, and he rallied for the show from the outside post in a solid effort. Flavien Prat stays put and the Always Dreaming colt might be ready to graduate in his third start.
No. 8 Provision (5-2) landed the place in both turf routes and is a logical contender. He adds blinkers and Luis Saez strings along.
No. 10 Thethrillofvictory (5-1) split a 10-horse field in the common Aug. 19 turf route at Saratoga. Irad Ortiz Jr. hops aboard and Michael Maker has decent stats with second timers.
No. 1 Ramblin’ Wreck (6-1) never got involved from the outside post in his dirt sprint bow Aug. 11, and the runner-up was a next-out winner. They paid $140k for this one, dam has tossed a turf winner, and Danny Gargan is strong with his first route starters.
