#1 BANKIT (7-2) hit the board in four of his last six starts vs. open company, and five of the races were in the stakes ranks. He had some success in multiple New York-bred stakes last year, and he should be running late under Irad Ortiz Jr.

#7 Mr. Buff (6-5) is frequently tough to catch in the state bred stakes ranks. This group is in deep trouble if they let him control the tempo.

#4 Build to Suit (9-2) always finishes in the top three and has a nose for the wire. He is very good up to seven panels, and Chad Brown is an excellent layoff trainer. The three-time local winner projects a stalking trip.

#8 Pat On the Back (5-1) is a grade two winner at this course and distance. He always runs his race at Belmont Park, and an outside stalking trip is expected.

#3 Funny Guy (20-1) had a decent sophomore campaign last year, and John Terranova has strong stats with this type of layoff runner. Joel Rosario rides and he can spice up the exotics.
