No. 6 B SUDD (6-1) was a good 3rd in his Keeneland debut at this distance, and that was a very productive race. He graduated by a neck from an outer post in an extended sprint at Churchill second time out, and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. Dallas Stewart’s early-pressing colt cuts back a furlong and could easily be this good.

No. 10 Higher Standard (3-1) battled on the pace before pulling clear in his sharp sprint debut in the mud under the Twin Spires Nov. 14. He drew outside the other speed and will probably press wide.

No. 9 Cairama (5-2) set the pace and held on by a head in his sprint bow, and chased from the outside post and weakened in the Nashua (G3) second time out. Steve Asmussen’s $525k purchase should attend the pace.

No. 2 Kavod (6-1) was nabbed out of his last by quality conditioner Chris Hartman. The competent dirt sprinter landed the place in the Tremont earlier this year.

No. 1 Charter Oak (5-1) exits back-to-back claiming wins and he turns back in distance in his first start after the claim. He hit the board in all three maiden sprints earlier this year.
